We’re a creative studio based in Northwest Connecticut powered by passion, honesty, and a little playful genius. We build design with energy, tell stories that feel alive, and work with people who care as much as we do.
Our Story
Erstellen didn’t start as a polished up studio. It started as me (Zack), a sixteen-year-old kid designing anything I could get my hands on under the name Zack Arts. From those early days working with esports clients, to eventually spending nearly a decade at Team Liquid, design slowly shifted from a hobby, to a career, to a calling.
For years, I took on freelance projects in my off-time from full-time roles. While I loved every step of that journey, I always knew there was something more I wanted to build; something with heart, purpose, and a voice of its own. A place to design the work I really care about, and collaborate with people who value honesty and creativity as much as us.
In 2022, with almost a decade of professional experience behind me, I finally decided to stop treating my design business as a side hustle and turn my energy toward building a real studio. That’s when Erstellen was born; a German word meaning “to create,” and a nod to our family’s heritage and the foundation this studio stands on. We are based in Connecticut, and specialize in branding, digital design, event graphics, graphic consulting, print design, web design, and more.
Today, Erstellen is a small but passionate team: myself as the creative lead, and my brother Mason supporting the business strategy behind the scenes. Together, we’re building a studio that values connection, storytelling, experimentation, and design that actually means something to people.
Our Team
Zack Kiesewetter
Zack Kiesewetter is a designer driven by emotion, energy, and the belief that great designs should make people feel connected. He started designing at sixteen, building his early career in esports through Curse Gaming, and eventually spending over a decade at Team Liquid, where he led branding, event graphics, broadcast visuals, sponsorship decks, apparel, car wraps, and creative systems for global sports and entertainment partners.
Over the years, Zack’s work has been shaped by a huge love for sports, a deep respect for good storytelling, and a commitment to designing experiences that feel alive. He believes the best design isn’t just beautiful, it pulls you in, sparks something, and sticks with you.
When Zack isn’t busy working at his desk, he’s an avid hiker and trail runner, ice hockey fan and past player, and loves to get out in nature whenever possible.
With Erstellen, Zack approaches each and every project the same as anything in life, with a ton of passion and energy.

Mason Kiesewetter
Mason Kiesewetter brings the business, strategy, and technical backbone to Erstellen. With a career shaped by IT, client relationships, and business development, Mason sees problems from angles that most people miss. Mason’s skills in blending logic, creativity, and people skills helps the studio run smoothly and grow with intention.
Before joining Erstellen, Mason spent years building solutions in tech and operations; configuring complex networks, deploying large-scale systems, leading sales proposals, designing automation tools, and managing client relationships across multiple industries.
At Erstellen, Mason supports with client communication, strategy, planning, and the behind-the-scenes systems that keep projects moving. His natural ability to connect with people, read situations, and think several steps ahead makes him a perfect balance to Zack’s creative direction, and a crucial part of what makes Erstellen feel human, trustworthy, and grounded.
