Hey, I’m Zack! I’m a graphic designer based in Connecticut with 15 years of experience designing for sports, esports, and the brands around them.

I got into design initially because of sports. I played hockey for 14 years, gamed in my free time, had a big passion for design. Eventually, I figured out I could make a living creating for the stuff I’m obsessed with. I still love hockey to this day. It taught me teamwork, the importance of showing up and working hard, and how bad a hockey bag can smell.

I spent a decade at Team Liquid, where I designed everything from social campaigns and event graphics to pitch decks, apparel, and Honda’s car wraps. After that, I moved to theScore and ESPN, designing daily sports graphics, marketing materials, and broadcast packages for shows like First Take and The Pat McAfee Show. These days, I’m creative directing a feature documentary following survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury.

What I love most is creating something that makes a fan feel something. A game day graphic that hypes them up, a fan pack they’re amped to use, a car wrap they stop and take a photo of. That’s what really inspires me to create everyday.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably on a trail, watching an ultra marathon livestream way too late at night, or yelling at the Capitals games on TV.
